Namsan Donkatsu (Address 101) 101번지남산돈까스

Seoul · Myeongdong & Namsan · Meal

MealFood & marketsIndoor

Located near the start of the Namsan climb, this restaurant serves Western-style pork cutlets of a size that few visitors expect. The cutlet comes with a thick brown sauce, a mound of shredded cabbage, soup and rice or bread, and the standard portion could feed a hungry hiker. It is a classic meal before a walk up to N Seoul Tower, and families and office workers eat side by side.

The room is simple, with practical tables and fast service. You order at the table, and photo menus help. Queues build at lunch and on weekends.

Hours may change, and the restaurant may close on certain days, so check ahead. Light eaters can share a single plate.

Getting there

Myeongdong Station (명동역), Line 4 Exit 3, then walk uphill toward Namsan for about ten minutes. Look for the small sign along the road.
