Yeouido Park 여의도공원
Seoul · Yeouido & Han River · Parks & nature
Yeouido Park is a green rectangle in the middle of the financial district, with a traditional pavilion, a pond, lawns and shaded walking paths. Its open space was once an airfield and a parade ground, and today it works as a lung for office workers at lunch and cyclists on weekends. In autumn, a ginkgo avenue turns gold, and in spring blossoms line the edges.
Public bikes can be rented and ridden along its loop, and a bicycle route links it to the river. Because it is flat and broad, it is easy for strollers. Food stalls and cafes sit around the edges.
Events and facility hours may change, and some paths close in bad weather.
Yeouido Station (여의도역), Lines 5 and 9, is a short walk. Several exits lead to the park along its east side.
