Gwangalli Daegyo Milmyeon 광안리 대교밀면
Busan · Gwangalli & Suyeong · Meal
Milmyeon was created in Busan by refugees during the Korean War, who made cold noodles out of wheat because buckwheat was scarce. The result is chewier than other Korean cold noodles, and it has become a defining local dish. At this shop, you can order either the cold broth version (mul-milmyeon), or the spicy mixed one (bibim-milmyeon).
Add dumplings on the side if you are hungry. It is especially refreshing on hot days and works as a light lunch before the beach. Queues can form near noon in summer.
Check current prices at the counter, since the menu is updated periodically.
