Hwangnyeongsan Beacon Mound Viewpoint 황령산 봉수대
Busan · Gwangalli & Suyeong · Night view
At about 430 meters, Hwangnyeongsan is the high ridge in the middle of Busan, and its summit offers one of the widest city panoramas anywhere in Korea. A stone beacon mound stands near the top, where fire signals were once lit, and the modern viewing platform looks out over the bay, the bridges and the lit skyline in a 360-degree sweep. The road is too steep to walk comfortably after dark, so most visitors take a taxi up and wait for another down.
The view is free, and the temperature at the top can be several degrees cooler than the city. Road and parking rules may change.
By taxi from Seomyeon or Gwangalli, about 15 to 25 minutes, depending on traffic; no subway reaches the summit. (Show a driver: 황령산 봉수대)
