Gwangalli Beach 광안리해수욕장
Busan · Gwangalli & Suyeong · Parks & nature
Smaller and more relaxed than Haeundae, Gwangalli has fine sand, a lively strip of cafes and bars behind it, and the double-decker Gwangan Bridge arching across the whole bay. By day the beach is calm and good for walking or sitting on a bench with a gelato. At night the bridge lights up in changing colors and the whole arc becomes the draw.
Large events such as the autumn fireworks festival gather hundreds of thousands of spectators, while ordinary evenings are mellow. Summer swimming is possible within marked zones, and winter walks are bracing. Event dates and light schedules change.
Gwangan Station (광안역), Line 2, Exit 3 or 5, then walk about 10 minutes to the sand. (Show a driver: 광안리해수욕장)
